We already have a streaming service, why do I need to use Praizevision.com?

We asked the same question initially. Just like every church is different, and unique Praizevision is different from other Christian streaming broadcasts. One size doesn’t fit all when it comes to ministry. We are very selective about the quality of the ministries that we put on our streaming portal. You must meet certain specifications in order to join PV.

Is Praizevision a Christian based organization?

Yes, we are owned and operated by three technology companies, Absolute Presence, Bowen's Web Services, and GSWEBMEDIA.COM whose owners are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Absolute Presence is a member of ASI (Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries).

How do you make your money, isn't it expensive to stream?

Yes it is, we sell advertisements to approved vendors and ministries.

I can’t see your stream what is happening?

• First you should make sure that the status of the ministry you intend to watch is set to "Online".

• If the status of the ministry is set to "Online" and you still cannot view the stream you may need to download the latest version of Windows Media Player.

• If you have a pop-up blocker you should disable it for full use of this site.

Note: Most events streamed from Praizevision.com use Windows Media Player as its streaming client.

I played my video stream on a PC and it looks great, however on a MAC it does look all that good. Why is that?

The reason for this is that Praizevision's media streams support variable bitrates. The Windows Media Player for MAC which is no longer supported by Microsoft doesn't handle it well. However there is a third party client that will help you view our streams. It is called
Flip4Mac, this tool is a component that works with Quicktime to play windows media files. For more information go to Microsoft.com.

My stream turns green and inverts, whats going on?

When Windows Media Player 10 thins the video stream by selecting a lower bit rate, sometimes Windows Media Player 10 must resize the video. When Windows Media Player 10 resizes the video, certain video formats give a negative size. This problem occurs because negative sizes are not appropriately handled in the underlying Microsoft Windows Media Format components.

How do I become a member?

Simply contact us via email by going to our contact us page and sending an email to the sign up department. A login will be provided for you so you can login and upload you ministries information. All churches who are a part of the Praizevision.com network proudly display a Praizevision banner on their web site. By displaying these banners churches on our network have permission to broadcast or rebroadcast their internet stream.

Where do I get a Praizevision.com banner or logo to add to my website?

You can get our Praizevision.com banners or logos from our banners page located at http://www.praizevision.com/banners.asp

I would like to podcast my media do you provide that service?

Yes, we can do either of two things to enable you to Podcast. You can either host your podcast on one of podcasting servers at a fee, or you can store your podcast on your own web server and then link to your podcast via our custom podcast application.

How do I get to the Podcast Application?

For members of Praizevision.com you must login to our custom back-end and click on edit podcast to access our podcast generator.

Will I be able to use the podcast link that was generated on my ministries site?

As a member of Praizevision.com you have the right to use the XML generated on your ministries website at NO CHARGE.

I have firefox but I don't see any video on my screen?
